Hockey Club (Women's): 1XI Vice-Captain

Hey everyone, I’m Sahar and I would love to be voted in as your 1st XI Vice-captain. 

As I currently write this, I smell something rather lush. I ask myself if anyone is cheffing up a storm at these silly hours of the early morning. Do you smell it as well? Champions. After mathematically winning the league (If LSE get 30+ goal difference I vow to run a marathon x) the girls and I look onto a tastier prize in the horizon – a well-deserved promotion. Perhaps next year we can do it all over again? We’ll have a look, of course we’ll have a look. 

As someone who really does bleed purple (check the receipts from THE HANGER), I would be honoured to be put in a position of influence over new squad members, showing the ropes on how deep our hatred for K*ngs runs. My first line of call as VC would be to teach the fresh the Burlington Bertie – got to teach them young x

Granted it may sound cliché, but this has been by far the most positive and inviting squad I have ever played with – a testament to all the girls in the squad. I so vividly remember accidently shoulder barging a player in mixed, a clear foul, perhaps even a card? But who came to my defence? None other than ELLA: MY MUM, MY MUM. That’s the sort of love and camaraderie the 1s offer and I intend to keep it up next season.
