I’m standing for Outreach Officer because I want to help give back to the UCL Golf Society and I highly doubt that will be through winning any golf tournaments anytime soon. I’ve really enjoyed being part of the society and I think this role is a great place for me to contribute to the committee by helping the society keep growing, building new connections and making sure we run great events and partnerships to put UCL Golf on the map.

Through previous roles and projects I’ve developed strong organisation, reliability, and the ability to work well with others to make things actually happen. I have experience reaching out to organisations, building relationships, and securing sponsorships, which has given me a good understanding of how to present UCL Golf in a professional way and create partnerships that benefit everyone involved.

Most importantly though, I want to help the society keep improving and be part of a committee that makes our golf events as fun, active, and well-run as possible for everyone. If elected, I’ll do my best to help build connections and opportunities that allow the club to run more events, offer more to members, and continue growing the society.

I worked at the Genesis Scottish Golf Open last summer bumping into Rory McIlroy and other big names in golf so I am 100% certain I can definitely use these “close connections” with famous golf players and event executives to secure sponsorships with big brands like Titleist, Trackman and Genesis for the society.
