Giving Voice Society: Treasurer

I am nominating myself as Treasurer for the Giving Voice Society because I would bring strong organisational and time management skills. I also have years of practical experience in events organisation so I would be able to help support other areas of the society.

My background as a Campaign Manager for a media industry membership organisation has given me direct experience with budgeting. When I planned marketing campaigns for international conferences, I would be responsible for balancing creative ideas with budget constraints.

What’s more, my marketing role has helped me develop strong communication skills. I understand why transparency and accountability is important in this role and so I would ensure that all financial processes are well documented and easy for others to digest.
