After an amazing first year repping the 2’s, I have decided to follow in Grace’s footsteps and run for Treasurer of UCLWFC.

Spending my first year in such a fun and supportive team has taught me so much and made me eager to be a part of a close-knit committee, gaining a deeper understanding of how our funds are managed and allocated. I believe that with my strong mathematical skills (thank you, accounting module 🤑) and effective communication, I can fulfil this role with precision, responsibility, and reliability.

Furthermore, I am confident in my ability to tackle any financial challenges that may come our way (although none will occur if I am Treasurer 😉), which will ensure all funds are allocated efficiently to support our activities as a club. I am highly organised and attentive to detail, and I will make sure budgets are carefully managed and that every decision prioritises the benefit of our club and its players.

All that being said, I aim to show the 2s even more love by organising fundraising activities and utilising those funds responsibly so we can HOPEFULLY MAYBE FINALLY get our own shirts instead of sharing the same 11 every game… while also supporting any other goals across all teams! I will be there to help make it happen - both financially and beyond.

I can’t wait for another year, playing as the 2’s LW (or RW or CAM - wherever Kaveh wants to put me, I WILL give it my all!!) and hopefully serving as Treasurer for the UCLWFC!! 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶

I am standing for UCLWFC Treasurer because I want to ensure the club is financially secure, well-organised, and accessible to everyone who wants to play.

In my daily life, I’m known as an avid user of Notion, physical planners, and Excel spreadsheets, giving me the responsibility and organisational skills required to manage the club’s annual budget. I’m also a team player who can efficiently work with the Students’ Union, other committee members, and across teams. I’ve also managed my own finances pretty well since moving to London (and we all know how expensive it can get).

As a long-time football player and lover of the sport, I am very committed to making sure that others also get the chance to enjoy it. Through working with the Students' Union on grants and reimbursements, I hope to continue minimising the financial barrier of joining and staying on the teams. I will also make sure the money you do pay is being used to run the club effectively, with each area receiving what it needs.

With me as Treasurer, you can trust that I will always be there behind the scenes, keeping the club running smoothly—so you can continue focusing on playing football.
