Hi guys! Many of you might recognise me if you keep an eye out for a white puffy jacket, whether that’s at training or at Scala not trying to pay the 2£ coat check. I’d love to be Social Secretary and help plan fun socials for the club, from coming up with weekly sports night themes to organising joint socials with other societies and making sure everything’s sorted behind the scenes like tables and bookings. Wednesdays are the best night out when lots of us are there, and we need keep that going to encourage even more team presence. I also think the social side of a team is really important, getting to know each other off the pitch makes such a difference to the atmosphere and how we play together. I’d also love to organise more team socials so that we can make keep building the great vibe the club already has. Can’t wait to see you guys at Phineas and the inevitable walk to Scala!

Hi UCLWFC,

Football teams thrive not only on the pitch, but through relationships built off it. Strong socials create stronger teams. They build trust, confidence, and the kind of chemistry that translates directly into performance. That’s why Julia and I want to take socials to the next level next season. Our goal is to create events that people genuinely look forward to. Organised, creative, and inclusive, bringing the club together. This means introducing fun challenges, themed socials, bonding activities, and a mix of both drinking and non-drinking events so that everyone feels included. Whether it’s games at the pub, team competitions, or organised socials outside of the usual routine, our aim is simple- to make every social memorable and strengthen the sense of community within UCLWFC. Equally important is creating a welcoming and comfortable environment where everyone feels encouraged to attend. Socials should never feel intimidating or exclusive. They should be the place where friendships are built and the club comes together. Alongside this, we will improve how we promote our socials. Having previously been social coordinator in school, I have experience organising events, creating engagement, which I’d bring to help build and maintain strong attendance throughout the year. Julia and I are committed to making socials something that truly strengthens the club. Beinging energy, creativity, and organisation to ensure next season’s socials are the BEST yet.

Hello UCLWFC

One of the most beautiful things about football is its unpredictability; on any given day, any team, underdog or favourite, can win. No matter how much a team may have greater technical prowess, fitness, or discipline, victory often comes down to something less tangible yet far more powerful ... team chemistry

The raw connection, trust, and unity within any squad carry the most weight within any match. Which is why next season, Layla and I would dedicate ourselves to producing the most entertaining, joy-inducing, and gratifying socials, guaranteed to cultivate an excessive amount of team spirit ready to be translated to on-pitch performance.

Themes that will be announced significantly before any social - allowing all the necessary time to prepare

Activities at socials which make sure that the whole of UCLWFC are together, rather than being separate throughout the pub.

And finally,

To stop taking the piss, an actually welcoming environment so that anyone who wants to join can, and feels comfortable doing so.

Thank you SO much for reading this and I hope you will consider Layla and I for next seasons social secs. 💜💜💜💜
