Social media is often the first impression of a club for many, so being able to capture the energy of UCLWFC in a way that is not only engaging but also professional is crucial. I am therefore standing for social media secretary as I consider myself able to have the necessary creative and management skills required for this role.
As an incredibly organised person (never missed a deadline!), I would ensure that all content is carefully planned in advance and posted on time.
My experience as a writer for one of UCL's student journals demonstrates that I am more than capable of adhering to relevant schedules and that I can communicate effectively through writing which is essential for delegating information to people via DMs or collaborating with other clubs for joint posts.
I also have a good eye for aesthetics (pinterest trained some may say) and would be able to oversee a cohesive theme for the club’s page, all while maintaining a level of professionalism.
Ultimately, I want to help create a social media presence that really shows UCLWFC’s achievements and community, giving the club a platform that is a true reflection of its talent and culture.
