FinTech Society: President

I am standing for Fintech Society President because I genuinely care about the direction and growth of our society. As the current Vice President for Outreach, I have expanded our industry connections and helped organise multiple events that delivered real value to our members. Through this role, I have seen how powerful the right opportunities can be.

Some of you might remember my face from the event I hosted with a speaker from Revolut. That experience reinforced why outreach matters to me. Whether hosting, engaging with members, or reaching out to professionals, I am committed to creating spaces where students can directly connect with people working at the forefront of fintech.

As I am pursuing a career in fintech myself, I am constantly building relationships and actively seeking new professionals and firms for our members to engage with. However, I believe we can go beyond speaker events.

I want to introduce a “Fintech in Practice” competition: a hands-on initiative where members work in teams on real-world fintech challenges set by industry partners (for example, designing a new payment feature, or pitching a digital banking expansion strategy, etc.). This would give students practical experience they can confidently speak about in interviews. 

Having already contributed within the committee, I understand what works and where we can grow. As President, I want to strengthen our brand and build a society that is ambitious, innovative, and genuinely valuable for every member.
