Fencing Club: Treasurer

I would be really interested in being on the committee again, I enjoy helping the club out in any way that I can. I have some previous experience working as the armourer, a position in which I worked closely with the treasurer and got to know a fair bit about the role, including managing ordering of kit. With this background I think I could be rather useful as the Treasurer for the club. 

My name is Jovita and I am a current Year 2 student. As a member of the Fencing Club, I would like to contribute by taking on the position as Treasurer. I believe strong financial organisation and management is essential in providing opportunities for all members within the club.

Having led two clubs at my previous school, I understand firsthand how important tracking funds, budgeting and financial planning are. Making decisions with my peers has developed my communication and organisation skills. I have also learnt how to allocate funds responsibly, while considering members' interests and keeping the club's future needs in mind.

I would be excited to apply the knowledge I have gained from past experiences to support the Fencing Club. If given the opportunity, I will maintain accurate records and work closely with other members of the committee to ensure that our club's shared resources can be used effectively in training, competitions and events.
