I am standing for Vice President because I value the operational strength that underpins successful leadership, and believe that the society should operate like real life fashion businesses, balancing creativity with commercial awareness, especially through industry engagement. Across my experience in a luxury marketing internship at Lancome and earning certifications on strategic fashion management from Bocconi, and LVMH, I believe that I have developed a strong understanding of the industry on an operational level beyond aesthetics. Having co-founded a Fashion Club and organised a fashion show showcasing student designers, I am particularly drawn to ensuring teams remain aligned and motivated, especially when managing multiple initiatives at once. If selected, I would aim to build a cohesive identity for the society, emphasising industry engagement with relevant speakers and partnerships to provide a professional platform that builds members' skillsets for real-life application.

In this role, I would focus on supporting the President by strengthening internal organisation and maintaining momentum across departments. This involves clarifying responsibilities, structurally planning timelines, and openly communicating across various teams. Effective leadership is about enabling others to perform at their full potential. I aim to foster collaboration, maintain consistent execution, and translate ideas into tangible and successful outcomes.

Jasmine Ho

Hi everyone! I'm Jasmine, a 1st year Communications student and FBS Social Media Team member, running to be your Vice President.

Attending the UNDERDAYS talk opened my eyes to how career-inspiring FBS is. The intimate setting let me ask questions and see direct links to my own aspirations of combining fashion and business. I now want to make these opportunities more visible by expanding our network.

Outside the society, I've interned for a luxury watch marketplace, pursued styling projects, taken fashion courses, and completed the LVMH certificate – all fuelling my passion for this role. From House Captain to Business Society FYR, I've also planned events for 200+ people, honing my organisation and leadership skills.

As VP, my goals are to grow our audience by strengthening industry ties and hosting more insightful events. My initiatives include:

  • Expand Industry Network – Partner with local brands and other societies for panel talks and networking sessions

  • Stronger Internal Events – Host museum visits and watch parties to strengthen internal unity

  • Multimodal Promotion – Use reels and videos to share informative fashion commentaries and the fun behind-the-scenes of FBS

  • Highlight Career Benefits – Showcase how FBS opens career doors through marketing efforts to inspire more students to join

If elected, I'll work alongside our president to build on these industry relationships while creating a creative community where fashion and business intersect, leading FBS to further success.
