Fashion Business Society: Social Media Manager

I am standing for Social Media Manager because my prior experience in this role has helped me recognise the central role digital platforms play in shaping a society's visibility and community engagement. I understand that effective content goes deeper than aesthetics and requires being strategic, consistent, audience-focused, and responding to evolving digital trends.

In this role, I would focus on developing a visually cohesive and trend-aware content strategy that clearly communicates the society's values and ambitions. I would target increasing engagement through interactive formats, behind the scenes content, and innovative event promotion. Additionally, I would track engagement performance to refine content rather than relying on intuition. My goal would be to position the society's digital presence as both aspirational and accessible, strengthening its relevance within the university community.
