Kabir Gandhi

Hi! I’m Kabir (BSc Politics and International Relations), and I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Treasurer of UCLe! — to help create real impact by securing more funding and creating more opportunities.

As part of the UCLe Events team, I’ve worked closely with the committee over the past year and helped host several events, connected successful entrepreneurs and inspired students of this society. Moreover, embodying the entrepreneurial spirit of UCLe, I was the Programme Associate of the Hult Prize Competition, where I helped connect student ambition to reality by organising a competition which gives the opportunity to win $1 million dollars.

Your Society, Your Vision — Vote Kabir to make it happen!

I believe that this role is not just about finance, but about the opportunity to drive growth! — as I would ensure that funding is used efficiently on expanding sponsorships, supporting high-value events and providing our members with the best possible experience they can get!

While I excel at engaging sponsors and advocating for funding, I place equal importance on actively listening to the committee and society members. I will ensure that all financial decisions align with the vision and goals of the society.

Together, we will make UCLe the launchpad for the next generation of students to come!

If you want, more opportunities, bigger events and a strong financial foundation for your better UCLe experience! –Vote Kabir for Treasurer!

UCL is a big place, and the Entrepreneurs Society is one of its biggest communities — which is exactly why I want to be part of the team that keeps it running well.

I have been part of the Outreach team working towards the London Startup Fair, coordinating outreach to investors, VCs, and partners in the lead-up to the event. Being involved has given me a real appreciation for how much goes on behind the scenes — and how important it is that the financial side is handled with care and precision.

My background is in data and analysis. I recently fine-tuned a machine learning model across 1,708 data points and built geospatial dashboards to communicate results clearly — work that demands the same rigour and attention to detail that good financial management requires. I also drove the winning team at the UCL x J.P. Morgan Personal Investing Design Sprint, where managing constraints and thinking carefully about numbers under pressure was central to what we did.

Beyond that, I've worked in commercial roles where I was accountable for real outcomes: executing digital marketing campaigns to representing brands at large-scale expositions across multiple languages.

I'm standing because I want to contribute to this society in a meaningful way. I'm organised, I take ownership seriously, and I genuinely care about making sure the society has the financial foundations to do bigger and better things.

I'd be honoured to serve as Treasurer and help this community thrive.

About Me :)

Hey! I'm Andrea, an International Management student running for Treasurer this year. I have been managing “budgets” for my whole life. From recording my daily expenses, budgeting for my high school prom night, to my previous operational work experience in a trading company. I learned that good financial management isn’t just about numbers - it is about Attention To Detail. I believe that money should be used wisely to create a meaningful impact for everyone involved.

My Goals:

  • Efficient Budgeting System - Work closely with event heads to plan realistic cost estimates, keep records organized that are accessible to the committee to make informed decisions instead of reactive ones.
  • Allocate Funds Strategically - Balance short-term event needs with long-term financial health to ensure sustainability while maximizing impact.
  • Support Future - Develop simple financial guidelines for future treasurers that make future leadership stronger and more confident.
