Can Saray

I’m nominating myself for Partnerships Director because I genuinely enjoy building meaningful relationships that create value for everyone involved. Having completed the UCL Foundation Year before starting my degree, I have had the opportunity to understand the UCL community from different perspectives and appreciate how important strong connections are in helping students access new opportunities. This year, serving as a first year Client Relations Representative at the Business Society and taking on a student representative role has strengthened my ability to communicate clearly, listen to different needs, and build trust between people and teams. These experiences have shown me that successful partnerships are not just about outreach, but about creating genuine collaboration and long term value. If elected, I want to focus on developing partnerships that feel authentic and beneficial for both our members and the organisations we work with, while also making opportunities more accessible and engaging for students interested in entrepreneurship. My goal is to help build a society where relationships are strong, opportunities are meaningful, and people feel encouraged to connect, learn, and grow together.

Reya Khanna

Hi everyone!

I’m Reya, and I’m running to be your Partnerships Director for UCL Entrepreneurs Society.

If elected, I want to help drive partnerships that create real opportunities for members and make the society experience even more valuable throughout the year.

I see partnerships as a way to turn ideas into action. The right partnerships can bring in speakers, workshops, mentorship, networking, and collaborations that give members direct access to people, insights, and opportunities in the startup and business space.

If elected, my focus will be:

1. More high-value partnerships
Build partnerships that are relevant to members and aligned with what they want to learn and explore.

2. More opportunities that members can actually use
Create more practical events, workshops, and collaborations that help members build skills, expand their networks, and learn from real founders and operators.

3. More access to founders and the entrepreneurial ecosystem
Bring in more founder conversations, Q&As, and networking opportunities so members can learn directly from people building companies.

4. More momentum for the society
Help strengthen the society’s partnerships so we can keep creating better opportunities and a more exciting experience for members throughout the year.

I’d really appreciate your support, and I’d love the chance to help make next year bigger, stronger, and more opportunity-filled for UCL Entrepreneurs Society.
