Energy Society: President

As an MSc Energy Systems and Data Analytics student and current External Events Officer, I've had a front row seat to what this society is and what it could become. Now that I know what's possible, I’m running because I want to be the one to take it a step further:

Industry/Careers Events

I want to expand our relationships with industry to organise a calendar of site visits, panel talks, and real world demonstrations e.g. how big data is used to solve energy transition problems.

On top of this, I would like to start running careers events with the UCL BSEER careers team, showcasing the full range of career paths in energy and giving members direct access to professionals in each field.

International Partnerships

I want to grow our network. I've been in dialogue with university societies across Europe laying the groundwork for a variety of collaborative events that we have already started receiving invites to. For you, that means access to connections, collaborations, and events that you won’t find anywhere else.

Why me?

As External Events Officer with 3 years of previous society leadership under my belt, I understand how this society works and how to deliver consistently. I've also built a strong network of energy professionals at every level: it's what got me into energy in the first place, and it's what I'll put to work for you.

The current committee has created a wonderful community that’s 100% worth building on. Vote for me to make sure that momentum doesn't stop here.
