As a massive dance head, i think id do a good job as social sec. Always really loved the vibes and community of dance so wanna do something more behind the scenes.

Going to events is something i do extremely frequently, and i think i can take it further and organise socials and such related to the society.

Ive made some great friends in the society already, djing a lot casually as well as attending events. Id like to be able to do this more at socials and be able to help with these.

I'm standing for Social Secretary because I genuinely believe the Electronic Music Society deserves an events programme that pushes boundaries — not just in the music we showcase, but in the spaces we use and the people we platform. I believe my communication skills are great, and I am willing to have any kind of conversation and pursue opportunities to get this club onto the next level!!!

I've been actively building connections within London's underground electronic music network, reaching out to venues and promoters that most student societies never tap into. I want to bring those relationships to EMS and create events that feel real, not generic — nights that actually reflect the culture we're part of.

What drives me most is making sure everyone in this society gets a fair shot at the stage. Whether you've been here since day one or just joined last week, you deserve the same energy and the same opportunities. I'm committed to building an events calendar where new faces are welcomed, not overlooked.

I work hard, I hustle, and I care deeply about this community. Give me this role and I'll make every event something people talk about for years.

Hi I'm Storm! This year I've really enjoyed being introduced to EMS and getting to meet like minded people who share the same interest in electronic music as me. Whether its discussing and discovering new artists together, sharing a track, or seeing what people are working on, its such a fun community to be a part of.

I'd love to run for social secretary because i think the social aspect of what makes a great night (apart from a banging lineup) is key to its success. Electronic music is such a collaborative and community driven scene, and i'd really enjoy helping create more opportunities for members to connect, meet new people, and have fun outside of just DJing.

If I were elected, I'd love to organise a mix of socials such as pre-event meet-ups before nights out or casual pub trips where people can share new tracks they have been loving recently, record shop trips, or even organise a club night out to a lineup which people have expressed interest in !

I'd love the chance to help build on the great atmosphere the society already has and make sure everyone feels part of the community and welcomed :)
