I would love to run for Women’s Captain because I’m passionate about leadership and thrive on the competitiveness that makes dodgeball so exciting. Over this year, I’ve learned so much from training and matches, and I’m eager not only to continue improving myself but also to pass that knowledge and confidence on to other members of the team.
To me, being captain isn’t just about how we play, but about how we grow and succeed together as a team. I recognise how important it is to truly know your teammates in order to coordinate effectively and build a strong, trusting, and motivated group. I would prioritise supporting each player, valuing our differences, and bringing out everyone’s individual strengths, because every member of the team is valuable and has something unique to contribute.
As a class representative, I’ve gained experience in leadership, organisation, and bringing people together. I understand that this role involves both logistical and practical responsibilities, from communication and planning to leading on court. I’m ready to take on that challenge, grow alongside the team, and push ourselves to win matches!!!
