Mili Savan

I, Mili Savan, am standing for TranscenDance Producer because it combines things I genuinely love: dance, fashion, visual aesthetics, organisation logistics, and the process of building a full artistic production. My interest in fashion and the arts has always been central to how I engage with creative spaces. I believe the experience I gained through producing an inter-school arts competition, where I served on the head committee and led the visual arts event, makes me a strong candidate for the role. I coordinated between schools, sponsors, judges, and internal committee members, delegated tasks, managed logistics, and ensured clear communication across teams. At the heart of my approach would be the creation of a committed and collaborative team. The strongest artistic outcomes emerge from listening, openness, and the variety of perspectives that shape a production. I have undertaken teamwork roles of various kinds, whether that be participating in a fashion show or social service for older people, making me experienced in listening to a range of viewpoints. I would ensure clear communication with my team, the main committee, other universities, judges, and venue staff, and provide updates, as I know that being out of the loop can make people feel stressed and left out. Ultimately, I am standing for this role because I care deeply about creating meaningful artistic experiences and supporting others in bringing their work to life. So vote MILI❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥!

Mackenzie Lui

Hiii! I’m Mackenzie (Kenzie), a first-year Fine Art student! Ever since joining Dance Soc, it’s been such a big part of my uni life, and I’ve made so many incredible memories dancing in Freshers Show, Blooms, and choreographing for Triple Bill. One of my highlights is definitely Transcendence! From being in the concept video to competing; TD gave me such an insightful intro into comps, and I’d love to have the opportunity to produce it, build on what’s already amazing, and bring in new ideas.

Being involved in multiple shows and comps at the same time, I’d like to think I’m organised and able to manage, multitask, and balance my time well. My experience leading a team to help with the production & programme design of a musical and liaising with companies and clients in branding, has allowed me to gain skills like working efficiently with turnaround times, managing workloads, and making quick changes and decisions. I’m also chronically online (lol) and responsive, so there should be no problem in effective communication, whether it’s with the prod team or other points of contact.

Seeing the amount of talent in TD and everyone supporting each other was so special. It’s such a positive community, and preserving that atmosphere would be one of my priorities. I also have thoughts around restructuring cyphers, as well as pre-comp socials! I’m here for the energy, the people, and making sure TD runs smoothly - and I’d really appreciate your vote!! 💜
