Cypriot and Hellenic Society: Treasurer

I am applying to be Treasurer of the Cypriot and Hellenic Society because I believe I am well suited for this role due to both my background and my experience. As an Economics student, I regularly work with data, budgeting concepts, and financial decision-making. This has strengthened my analytical skills and my ability to think carefully about how resources should be allocated in order to achieve the best outcomes.

Moreover, Through my internships in accounting and financial services, I have gained practical experience working with financial statements, analysing budgets, and understanding how organisations manage their finances responsibly. These experiences have given me a strong foundation in financial management.

If elected Treasurer, my goal would be to ensure the society’s finances are managed transparently and efficiently so that we can maximise the number and quality of events for our members. I would work closely with the committee to plan budgets effectively, maintain clear financial records, and ensure that every pound the society spends contributes to strengthening our community.

Our society has the potential to continue growing, and I would be proud to help support that growth by managing its finances responsibly.
