I'm standing because mentorship done well can genuinely change the trajectory of someone's career, and I don't think it's something to take lightly.

Consulting is one of those industries where having the right guidance early on makes a massive difference. Not everyone has access to that through their network or their background, and I think the society has a real opportunity to level that playing field.

I want to make the mentorship programme more structured and more intentional, so that mentees are actually getting consistent, meaningful support rather than just being paired with someone and left to figure it out. Better matching, clearer expectations on both sides, and regular check ins would go a long way.

I'm also really keen to grow the mentor pool and bring in people from a wider range of firms and backgrounds, so that whatever route someone wants to take into consulting, there's someone in the programme who's been there.
