Hi I’m Rowena and I’d love to be your new Client Projects Vice President! In the last year as Executive I helped shape the strongest client projects year UCLCS has ever seen with 17 projects sourced for 85 student consultants. I personally sourced 8 of these projects, including the flagship engagement supporting the Main Quad works for UCL’s 200th anniversary. I also secured 7 startup projects through UCL Innovation & Enterprise’s Hatchery, where I am a member.
Next year I want to build on this momentum by formally partnering with the Hatchery to guarantee a consistent stream of high-quality, diverse startups. Let’s go from 10 projects per term to 20! This will ensure more of our members work on real, ambitious ventures from environmental sustainability to healthcare technology and everything in between.
Secondly, I want to strengthen collaboration with the Mentoring Division to create a clearer pathway for project teams to access experienced consulting mentors. Every team should feel supported by guidance that elevates both impact and learning.
Finally, I want to build community within the division through regular socials and targeted networking events that connect members to clients, alumni, industry professionals and most importantly, each other!
This year we delivered exceptional results, next year I want exception to become the norm. A vote for me is a vote for more client project opportunities and a stronger consulting community here at UCL. Vote Rowena!
