Hi everyone! I’m running for Secretary of UCL Consulting Society because I want to help ensure the society runs smoothly and continues delivering high-quality opportunities for its members.

Through my experience as an term 1 Client Projects consultant within the society, I’ve seen firsthand how important strong organisation and communication are in making projects and events successful. From coordinating teams to keeping track of meetings and deliverables, effective structure plays a huge role in ensuring everything runs efficiently.

In this role, I would focus on maintaining clear communication across the committee, organising meetings effectively, and ensuring important information is documented and shared with members. I would also aim to support the wider committee in coordinating events, projects, and initiatives so that everything runs as smoothly as possible throughout the year.

UCL Consulting Society offers incredible opportunities for students to gain real consulting experience, and I would love to contribute by helping ensure the society remains well-organised, professional, and efficient. As Secretary, my goal would be to support the committee and help the society continue delivering valuable experiences for all members

I am a second year Natural Sciences student studying Neuroscience alongside the Mathematics and Statistics stream. I enjoy being involved in student societies that bring together people with an interest in business, consulting and problem solving.

Over the past year I have been involved with the UCL Hedge Fund Society’s Equity Fund and recently won the Hedge Fund Society Equity Research Competition. Experiences like these have shown me how much work goes on behind the scenes to keep societies running effectively.

If elected, I would approach the role in an organised and reliable way and aim to support the committee in ensuring that meetings, communication and planning run smoothly. Good organisation helps societies operate more efficiently and allows the wider committee to focus on delivering valuable events and opportunities for members.

I would be committed to supporting the team and helping ensure the society continues to run effectively for its members.

I am standing for Secretary of the Consulting Society because I want to contribute to the organisation and growth of a society that connects students with the consulting industry. I believe the Secretary plays a key role in ensuring that the society runs smoothly behind the scenes, coordinating communication, keeping processes organised, and supporting the committee in delivering high-quality events.

Through my academic background in Management Science, I have developed strong organisational and analytical skills, which help me approach tasks in a structured and efficient way. I am comfortable managing information, coordinating responsibilities, and ensuring that important details are clearly documented and communicated. These skills are essential for maintaining accurate records, organising meetings, and supporting the overall operations of the society.

In addition, my leadership experience as a Team Leader Volunteer involved coordinating teams, planning activities, and managing logistics for events and campaigns that increased participation and engagement. This required clear communication, reliability, and attention to detail - qualities that are directly relevant to the Secretary role.

I am highly motivated, organised, and proactive, and I would bring these qualities to the committee to help ensure that the Consulting Society runs efficiently and continues to provide valuable opportunities for its members.
