My motivation to stand for Consulting Society President is simple: I love being part of something bigger than myself, collaborating with driven individuals to achieve results none of us could alone. Consulting’s value lies not in what any one person brings but in what a team creates together; my experiences have consistently reinforced this. Through my Consulting Society client project for a sustainable luxury jewellery brand, UCL’s Case Competition and further work at Blackmont Consulting, I’ve seen first-hand how collaboration is what really makes consulting both meaningful and exciting.

As President, I want to build a culture where personal growth, collective impact and belonging not only coexist: they reinforce each other. I thrive when leading teams and creating cultures where people feel genuinely supported. As Team Lead during my recent Headstart Internship, I was the youngest member organising and leading client sessions. Previously, as College Prefect, I mentored 60 students while coordinating across my team of house prefects, my housemistress and headmaster.

Representing DofE as one of 35 UK Youth Ambassadors and working across restaurants and hotels has given me not just a practical understanding of empathetic, visionary leadership but the confidence to deliver it. All together, these experiences have equipped me to liaise across multiple stakeholders: a skill I’d apply when managing the society’s divisions and connecting them with industry professionals and firms.

Consulting represents access to me- access to industries, impact and opportunities for students from every academic background. I began at UCL with little understanding of what consulting truly involved, yet through exploration and experience, I discovered how uniquely powerful it is as a career path that values diverse ways of thinking. That realisation is what drives my passion for this society.

Leading as a consultant at Cambridge Consulting Network- the second largest student-run consultancy globally- has given me direct exposure to real client delivery, from conducting market analyses to converting complex research into clear, actionable recommendations, I have learned how to operate at a professional standard. This experience reinforced how transformative structured training, ambitious standards and strong accountability can be in elevating student consultants to deliver real impact.

As president, I would embed that same standard within UCL Consulting Society by expanding access to live client projects with startups and high-growth firms, launching structured case interview bootcamps, organising alumni-led technical workshops and creating mentorship pipelines linking members to consulting interns and analysts. My goal is for members to leave not just inspired by consulting, but technically equipped, commercially aware and confident in their abilities to compete.

I am ready to lead UCL consulting with ambition, structure and lasting impact.
