Connect.ed Society: Treasurer

I am doing my BSc in Medical Innovation and Enterprise, this has interested me in research of all kinds, though mainly medical research. Equally, I have recently been connected with a mentor myself and I see the value it provides, therefore I want to make this more possible for other people. I also have experience doing research into diseases and medical techniques, as well as research into media coverage of the civil war in Ethiopia. Furthermore, my experience doing some business modules, namely Accounting for Business I see myself as a suitable fit for the treasurer. As treasurer I would of course focus on the finances of the society, and making sure that it is in a position to continue operating in the longterm. Alongside that focus I would contribute to the society by being at events, helping arrange events, as well as helping create these student-mentor relationships.
