Komila Kadirova

I previously took part in research programmes that required literature analysis, working with data and contributing to academic publications. These experiences shaped my academic trajectory, revealing my passion for research and demonstrated how powerful early engagement with research can be. However, such opportunities are rarely accessible by default, it often relies on prior awareness, mentorship and established networks.

As a Research & Mentorship Secretary, working closely with my team, I have actively contributed to widening access to research by strengthening structured mentorship systems and coordinating with partnerships. This position has allowed met to provide structured guidance across the entire research process, enabling students not only to begin projects but to see them through meaningful presentation and impact.

As president, my priority would be to actively bridge the gap between students and meaningful research opportunities. By strengthening partnerships, creating clearer pathways to research and publication, I hope to equip students with early exposure to research skills that shape both academic success and career readiness, supported by the structure guidance I once wished I had.

Research should not feel exclusive or intimidating. With the right structured, system-focused approaches, workshops and external program partnerships, I am committed to leading students to opportunities that allow them to reach their full potential within their passion.
