Right now, someone over at Imperial is already planning ICHack 27. Let’s do better than them.

This year, UCL CSS has had an incredible run of events, and next year we are looking to do even more including but not limited to: CV roasts, career talks, interview prep sessions, socials, workshops, and of course our flagship hackathon, HackLondon. We’ve brought together students from all years and backgrounds to build cool projects, learn new skills, and get a real taste of what it’s like to work in tech.

I’m nominating myself for Head of Operations because I want CSS to run smooth, feel organized, and be packed with events from Freshers’ Week all the way through to HackLondon 27. This year showed how much potential we have and I want to keep the ball rolling.

As Head of Ops, my focus will be simple: make it friction-less to run good events. That means planning things early, securing big new sponsors, keeping things organized with frequent updates to all our members, and of course, be the best tech society in London.
