Hi, I’m Elisa, a first-year BSc Computer Science student running for Head of Marketing of the Computer Science Society.
I want to get more involved in our Computer Science community and contribute in a practical way. I care about making sure students know what’s going on, understand the value of events, and feel encouraged to take part.
Why vote for me?
As a Course Representative, I work closely with the Student Union and regularly communicate student feedback. This has strengthened my ability to present ideas clearly, listen to different perspectives, and make sure information is shared accurately and on time. I understand how important clear and consistent communication is for any society to run smoothly.
As a former Coding Club Captain, I mentored younger students and led a volunteer team teaching refugee students how to code. I also organised multiple competitions, including an international Girls in Code competition. Through these experiences, I developed strong organisational skills, learned how to coordinate teams effectively, and gained confidence managing projects from planning to execution.
As Head of Marketing, I want to apply these skills to improve communication, increase engagement, and help build a more connected Computer Science community.
