Natasha Tarnofsky

Hello, I’m Natasha, a first-year Classics student. I’ve loved getting involved in this year’s Classics Society events, particularly pub nights as it’s such a nice way to meet new people. I’ve always had a great interest in wellbeing and would love to be able to get involved in helping to run the society as Welfare Officer. I think clear methods of support are pivotal for a smoothly running and successful community and I have a few ideas about how to ensure this is the case.

I want to make sure everyone feels welcome at the society’s events - whether they’re studying a classics degree or simply have an interest in classics. And I’m keen to ensure that everyone is aware of the support available to them. I’ve been told I’m an approachable person and I would be eager to provide help myself or point people in the right direction for advice. I’d like to run some low-pressure socials to make sure everyone feels able to join in with the events and comfortable within our community.

I look forward to getting even more involved with Classics Society next year :)
