Olga Rodriguez Pedraja

Hello everyone! My name is Olga Rodriguez Pedraja, and I’m a PhD student in Political Science at UCL. I’m excited to introduce myself as a candidate for the presidency of the UCL Chilean Society.

My goal is to continue building a welcoming space of unity and collaboration for everyone interested in Chile, Latin America, and their connections with the world. I want the Society to be a community where students feel supported and included, whether you’re Chilean or not, where we can get to know one another, share experiences, and strengthen our sense of belonging at UCL.

At the same time, I’m keen for us to create more opportunities for collaboration and academic exchange through talks, discussions, cultural events, and networking that bring students together across disciplines and interests, and that help us engage with Chile- and Latin America-related topics (and beyond) in an open, thoughtful, and international way.

I’m really looking forward to meeting you all and working together to keep the UCL Chilean Society active, friendly, and meaningful.
