Yanisa Lin

Hi everyone! I’m Yanisa, current Bizsoc First-Year-Rep of Events, running to be your Welfare Officer and Vice President of Events. From joining the DECA Case Championship to helping out with logistics at the IIC, I have connected with industry professionals and like-minded students who passionately taught me how to enhance my skills and business career journey, motivating me to work up to their trust. So, I want to give back by improving welfare support and bringing in fresh events to the society. 

My initiatives include:

• Increased micro hands-on projects: While panels are useful, I wish to introduce more short, practical projects, eg. short startup competitions where students build something tangible—such as a Chrome extension or an Instagram brand
• Strengthen partnerships: Continue the legacy, make Bizsoc the official society that different big firms know about. Bring stronger prizes such as internship opportunities or coffee chat opportunities. 
• Ensure consistent welfare and snacks: Continue to provide food of your choice, such as pizza and snacks at events to make sure you feel recharged and energetic enough to lock in!  

My previous experience as the Director of Operations in launching ‘Charish’, selling 300+ water bottles and lunchboxes, has helped me develop strong leadership and communication capabilities that will allow me to excel in supporting Bizsoc's growth. I’m dedicated to helping each of you succeed in the business field within a supportive and inclusive community.
