Hi everyone, I’m Grace, a first‑year Management Science student running for Client Relations.
In high school, I founded and led a Social‑preneurship Club where I worked with global non‑profits, launched a school merch line, and raised over $2,000 for charity, which meant negotiating with vendors, managing expectations, and keeping partners updated. As Outreach Director at Compass 4 Careers, I set up the Non‑profit Network Initiative, coordinated with 120+ organisations, and acted as the first point of contact between founders and external partners, chasing replies, setting up calls, and making sure collaborations actually moved forward. These experiences made me very comfortable with cold outreach, follow‑ups, and maintaining professional yet warm relationships.
If I become Client Relations VP, I want to help secure high‑quality sponsorships and partnerships that genuinely benefit members, not just look good on a slide. That means being persistent and proactive with outreach, tailoring pitches to each firm, and looking beyond just banks and consultancies to include a diverse range of employers. I also want to make sure our sponsors feel valued and looked after so relationships are sustainable: clear communication, smooth event coordination, and thoughtful touches that make them want to work with us again.
I’d be really excited to bring my experience in client‑facing roles, pitching, and writing to work with the rest of the team to broaden our network and opportunities.
