Biotechnology Society: Treasurer

I want to be the treasurer of the biotechnology society because I believe I am responsible, organised and have a genuine interest in generating income and opportunities for the society to host larger events in the future. I have been very engaged with the society during this academic year and believe that I can contribute well to its expansion. Budgeting and planning for expenditure are some of my strengths, and I look forward to creating a plan through which the biotechnology society can acquire greater funding with a strong management infrastructure. 

Honesty and integrity are cornerstones of my personality, and I believe that I can take on the responsibility of being treasurer due to my experience in accounting, and overall financial understanding. I am passionate about taking on a leadership role in this society since it has been one of the key aspects of my university experience so far, and I would love to see this society grow into a larger and more prominent entity within our community.
