Biotechnology Society: President

I'm running for the biotech soc president because biotechnology is a vast field with several opportunities in engineering, biology, and real-world impact. I want a wider range of people to get the opportunity to explore different streams within biotech. Being the first year rep of the society, I was able to see all the planning and the logistics that go into an event, and I want to keep it going forward. I want to help foster stronger industry connections through industry talks or networking events. I want to organize hands on workshops that will make us feel excited about the field we're stepping into.
