Nancy Yang

If I were selected for the Development Director role at the UCL Behavioural Innovation Society, I would focus on strengthening BIS’s connections with organisations and creating more structured career opportunities for members. I would work to organise career-focused events such as career fairs, speaker sessions, and networking opportunities that introduce students to how behavioural science is applied in industries like consulting, marketing, public policy, and technology. I would also prioritise outreach to companies and professionals to build long-term partnerships that can provide internships, insights, and mentorship opportunities for students. By coordinating these initiatives and promoting active engagement among members, I hope to help BIS become a stronger bridge between behavioural science students at UCL and the wide range of careers where behavioural insights can make a real impact.
