Basketball Club (Women's): Team 1 Vice-Captain

I’d like to be considered for Vice Captain of UCL Women’s Basketball 1st Team. Having captained my previous team in Cyprus, I’m comfortable taking responsibility, setting standards, and leading calmly when it matters. I’ve been part of this club for two years and I’m committed to it, so I understand our team dynamic and what helps us perform at our best. I believe I’m also a strong team player and communicator. I will try my best to hear everyone’s opinions, and I’m confident raising concerns or sharing ideas with the coach and captain—whether that’s about plays, roles, or what we need to improve. I will also work well alongside the captain if I am nominated as vice captain and I can step up if they can’t make a game, ensuring the team stays organised and supported. Finally, I’m here because I love the sport and the people in the club, and I’d like to help keep practices enjoyable and engaging—bringing in more 5v5 where useful, and feeding back to the coach on what the team feels helps us develop, win and have fun.
