Before starting at UCL, AI felt like a mystery, something I heard about constantly but never truly understood. That began to change in the first AI Society lectures I attended, where I encountered the real fundamentals for the first time: how the maths behind it all works, and why it all matters. That moment of things clicking, of AI going from prompting ChatGPT to something concrete, understandable and implementable is what I want to recreate for every member of this society.

I'm standing for Head of Tutorials, not for any other roles, because I truly believe the most valuable thing this society can offer isn't networking or hackathons, it's genuine understanding. Whether you're studying CS, economics, philosophy, or biology, AI is already reshaping your field, and you deserve to understand it. I want to build sessions that demystify AI for beginners, teach practical coding skills you can actually use, and connect the theory from your lectures to what's happening in the real world, as well as push those with a deeper understanding.

I'm not standing because I know everything about AI. I'm standing because I remember exactly what it felt like not to.
