Artificial Intelligence Society: Head of Events

I want to create events that engage with current developments in AI, encourage students to learn about ML and AI, and bridge the gap between technical and non-technical backgrounds. I believe AI is relevant to everyone, from philosophy and humanities to finance, economics, and healthcare; I want to expand the society's reach across all industries and disciplines. I also plan to collaborate with other societies such as the Entrepreneur Society, FinTech Society, and others to run interdisciplinary events that bring different perspectives together. As someone who often feels overwhelmed trying to keep up with the pace of AI news, tools, and updates, I know first-hand how daunting this space can feel, which is why I want to help us navigate it together. I'd love to launch a newsletter for AI updates so we can all stay informed, as well as organise events focused on helping members adapt to AI and become more employable, no matter their field, so that the society becomes a place where everyone feels equipped rather than left behind. Finally, I want members to be able to suggest the types of events they'd like to see from the society, whether it be workshops for using tools, AI book clubs, or even philosophical debates about the ethics of AI. I am standing because I want everyone to feel like there is a place for them here and for the events of the AI society to show that.
