Argentine Tango Society: Social Secretary

I’m standing for Social Secretary because I’m a very proactive and social person who genuinely enjoys bringing people together. I have lots of ideas for organising a variety of socials that cater to different interests—whether that’s relaxed gatherings, themed events, or activities that help members get to know each other better. My goal would be to help create a welcoming, friendly community where everyone feels comfortable and included.

I’d also love the opportunity to give something back to the society. I had an amazing time during my first year as a member, and the community made a big difference to my university experience. Being Social Secretary would allow me to contribute to maintaining and strengthening that positive atmosphere for new and returning members alike.

Finally, as an Argentinian, tango has always been an important part of my life and culture. It means a lot to me to be able to celebrate and share that culture with others through the society. I would be very happy to help organise socials that reflect the spirit of tango, bringing people together, building connections, and having fun.
