93% Club Society: Treasurer

This past year I have been the corporate relations officer for this society. Within that role I secured our first ever round of sponsorship, granting us an extra £800, enabling us to put more low-cost, high-quality events on. Additionally, I cultivated relationships with well-known corporate organisations like Slaughter and May and Deutsche Bank. If elected as Treasurer I hope to do the following: 

• Increase funding through SU grants 
• Build on relations made this year and increase sponsorship income
• Ensure at least 4 free social events each term 
• Introduce informal networking and CV checking events with UCL state school alumni 
• Get 93 out and about – introduce a travel fund for events outside of campus so finances are never an issue 

My aim is to create a 93% Club where finances are never a barrier to entry and careers and social events feel open and inclusive to everybody.
