Amaara Wadhwani

My decision to run (again) for President of 180 Degrees Consulting stems from the most rewarding year I have had leading this fantastic society! After a record-breaking year of 500+ members, 25 projects, and partnerships with EY, Accenture, Visa and Baringa, I want to scale this impact further while strengthening the quality of our member experience.

If re-elected, a core tenet of my platform is access. Although we delivered one of the highest project volumes across the global 180DC network, I’m passionate about securing more high-quality clients, providing every talented member the opportunity to partake in consultancy work. Alongside this, I plan to host more events with top consultancy/MBB professionals, placing greater emphasis on making members recruitment-ready through technical workshops, case practice and CV sessions.

Additionally, I want 180DC to remain a tight-knit, supportive society, with structured socials and networking opportunities to foster relationships beyond project teams. I plan to run regular technical workshops to simultaneously support consultants in delivering outstanding client work whilst in a social space.

Through my experience as President and my internship at OC&C Strategy Consultants, I understand all the challenges, pitfalls, and positives of 180DC and the consultancy industry. This provides me a unique perspective to take our society to the next level, running 180DC more efficiently and socially, maximising the value it offers to every member!
