Prisha Vadhel

As Marketing Officer for the Women’s Engineering Society, I would bring a strong background in both marketing and engineering. As an ambassador for STEM Untapped, a charity promoting diverse role models, I’ve led social media takeovers and raised awareness for underrepresented groups in STEM. I was also part of a TikTok team that grew to over 1,000 followers, promoting opportunities for gap year students in STEM.

Alongside my marketing experience, I have a solid engineering background from internships at Renishaw and Alstom, where I worked on mechanical design projects. As a STEM ambassador, I’ve run workshops to promote engineering and increase diversity, gaining insight into how to communicate these opportunities effectively.

Furthermore, I have worked extensively with Canva, designing engaging social media posts, and as Head of Marketing for my Young Enterprise company, I created content that led to a feature on BBC 3 Counties Radio.

With my combined experience in engineering and marketing, I aim to amplify the society’s message by creating targeted campaigns that resonate with members and potential students, along with collaborating with other societies at UCL. I am passionate about promoting the achievements of women in engineering and using my skills to drive engagement and foster an inspiring community.
