Hi everyone! My name is Sabrina Hart, and in the 2025/2026 academic year, I will be a third year in the classics program. I joined the Women in Finance Society my first year, and was immediately struck by how strong and supportive the community was. Pursuing finance roles, internships, and jobs can often feel incredibly stressful and competitive. This is why it is so important to create a safe atmosphere for all of our members, and actively plan check-ins and fun events to support every single member as much as possible.
I was the Welfare Officer for the In Aid of UNICEF Society this past academic year, and loved connecting with members and creating spaces where everyone felt safe to celebrate their success and speak about things that might be troubling to them. I will use and build upon this experience for my role as Head of Welfare in the Women in Finance Society, creating wellness events such as colouring evenings, wellness check-ins, and cafe trips. I promise to be a person with whom you can share any concerns you have, whether inside the society or about university life in general, with confidentiality. We are so lucky to have a community of strong women coming together to improve the future of finance, and I can’t wait to create an environment where we all feel supported and appreciated.
