Volleyball Club: Director of Photography

Hey! I’m Ajanthica (Aj), a second-year psychology student, and I’m currently the Director of Photography for the volleyball society.

This year, I’ve had the chance to film the team and take photos, which has been super fun! I’ve learnt a lot about what goes into capturing all the action and energy of the games, from creating edits to taking headshots of each player. I’ve also been working with the marketing team to stream matches on YouTube, which has been a great way to get the matches out there.

I’d love to stick around for another year in this role, especially to give the mixed team more of a spotlight. They haven’t had as much attention, so I wish to help them get more recognition by capturing their games to create edits. I would also like to showcase the social aspect of this society more to gain more members and grow a wider community.
