Hello everyone! I would like to greet you all from the bottom of my heart!
My name is Quoc Anh, a first-year student in Information Management for Business, and I’m running to be the next UCL Vietsoc Treasurer!
UCL Vietsoc is a family where we celebrate our culture, embrace our traditions, and create unforgettable memories. I’m here to take it to the next level!
WHY VOTE FOR ME?
STRONGER CONNECTIONS, BIGGER OPPORTUNITIES!
As the Finance Executive of the SVUK (Vietnamese Student Association in the UK) Committee, I have the opportunity to connect with prestigious organizations (e.g. VietPro). I promise that UCL Vietsoc will have more chances to engage with renowned speakers, gaining valuable career insights and expanding our professional network. Moreover, I'm honored to be entrusted by SVUK to manage the “SVUK & Vietsoc Growth Fund”, unlocking more support and making UCL Vietsoc stronger and more recognized than ever before! Let’s make OUR society one of the strongest in London!
MORE UNFORGETTABLE EVENTS!
Recently, I successfully raised over 150 million VND (~£4500) in sponsorships for SVUK, and I promise to do the same for UCL Vietsoc if I become President! Get ready for bigger and engaging events!
YOUR VOICE MATTERS – I’M LISTENING!
I’m here for YOU. Together, we’ll build a community where everyone feels at home.
So please vote for me! Let’s Make History Together!
Thank you!

If elected as Treasurer, I will focus on organising intercultural events with universities across the UK to expand the UCL Vietnamese Society’s outreach and foster growth. While we already have a strong presence in the Southeast, there’s also a significant Vietnamese community in the North, where I have valuable connections that could help us organise future collaborative events.
I bring a wealth of leadership and financial management experience, including serving as House Captain and Senior Prefect in my boarding school. In these roles, I organised large-scale events with over 200 attendees and coordinated charity events that raised over £200. These roles strengthened my communication, time management, and problem-solving skills and taught me how to lead teams effectively under pressure.
During my time as UCL’s Secretary, I’ve cut costs for events such as the flower-making event, allowing us to stretch our budget further and provide even more events. My time as Secretary has also honed my ability to work under tight deadlines. To increase funding, I will actively seek new sponsorship opportunities and engage with Vietnamese businesses that could support future events, making our society even more multicultural.
I am confident that my experience makes me the ideal treasurer and I would love to work with next year’s committee!
