Hii y'all, it's your president (about to be former president) speaking 🤗.
UCL Vietsoc 24/25 was an ambitious year for us: Bigger events, collabing with so many Vietsocs (+ other socs), directly working with big organisations (SVUK & The Project Darts) and getting our very first sponsor in 6 years! Despite this, there are still many ways that I think we can improve and grow 🙌.
Committee training - the only reason UCL Vietsoc 24/25 was so ambitious was due to the previous committee's guidance. Since the start of my term, I've created an archive of all of our events in 2024/2025, including event planning and sponsorship proposal templates along with your feedback. With this knowledge & experience, I am dedicated to help our new committee build a better Vietsoc with more exciting events!
Internal relations - There is no Vietsoc without its members. Your feedback is worth more than gold and I am dedicated to act upon them. I believe this role not only needs experience, but also an open, critical mind to further build our community of shared interests in Vietnamese culture, regardless of our identities.
External relations - If you want to go far, go together. With experience hosting many inter-uni events and being SVUK's Head of External Affairs, I will help guide collaboration efforts to bring more exciting opportunities for you all and foster a more positive image of UCL Vietsoc because I believe that each and everyone of us is truly special.
