Uzbek Society: Treasurer

I am excited to nominate myself for the role of Treasurer of the UCL Uzbek Society. As an Administrative Officer at UzSU and an active member of UCL societies such as MODO, Entrepreneurship, and Dance, I have gained valuable experience in financial planning, event management, and society operations. My passion for representing Uzbek culture at UCL motivates me to contribute to the society’s growth and sustainability.

This year, I attended my first Navruz celebration at UCL, and I was truly inspired by the event. As Treasurer, I would focus on securing funding, managing budgets effectively, and optimizing resources to ensure the success of our cultural events. I also aim to explore new sponsorship opportunities and collaborate with other university Uzbek societies to expand our reach. Additionally, I would like to enhance Navruz celebrations by introducing a traditional fashion showcase featuring Uzbek attire and reviving the iconic Main Library celebrations while ensuring financial feasibility.

With my strong organizational skills and financial awareness, I am confident in my ability to manage the society’s budget responsibly and support its continued success. I look forward to the opportunity to contribute to our community and help make the UCL Uzbek Society even more vibrant.
