Why me?
I have been in UNA as a memebr and as a committee member, so I understand the needs of the society inside-out, particularly what it takes to bring the society further and better building on the solid foundation that we have now.
Being the President of another society, I have experience with the work of a treasurer and how to communicate with the SU, which will make everyone's lives easier.
What will I do?

I am standing in this election as Treasurer because I want to play a big part in the future of this society next year.
This past academic year I have found this society's events deeply thought provoking and also extremely useful to my future. I have attended talks about Investment Banking, Wealth Management, Business Schools and more and I want to make sure the breadth and volume of talks and events is maintained. I also really enjoyed attending the Society's flagship conference last year and I have benefitted from the societies mentorship programme that helps students with their internship applications. I want all of this to continue.
When it comes to experience, I am already a first year rep of this society so I have knowledge about how the society operates. I also know the current committee so I know who to ask if help is needed before next year. I have been a Treasurer at UCL Scuba Club. Although a much smaller society, it means I have experience in this role and also experience when it comes to communicating directly with the SU.
I hope to be a stable pair of hands for the year ahead.
Hi everyone, I am Natalie, a 1st-year Mathematics student. I am standing for the position of Treasurer for the UNA because I am passionate about global affairs and committed to ensuring the financial stability of our society. My background in Mathematics degree has equipped me with strong analytical and numerical skills that are essential for managing budgets and financial planning. My bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese enables me to bridge language barriers, fostering communication among international students. My experience in finance equips me for this role. Through my participation in the finance firm programs, I developed an understanding of financial strategies and risk management, which are directly applicable to budget planning and expense optimization for the UNA. My involvement in investment challenges has strengthened my ability to assess financial risks, forecast revenues, and allocate resources effectively.
As Treasurer, I aim to:
- Secure funding to support our members' participation in international conferences.
- Promote inclusivity by ensuring financial accessibility for all students
- Create a transparent financial process
- Allocate resources efficiently within society
