I’m excited at the possibility of getting a position at UNA. From the start of the academic year, I’ve been part of the association and I’ve attended the UCLMUN conference. I've enjoyed participating in the weekly MUN sessions as well as attending the socials after the sessions. Regarding the UNA’s weekly meetings, I really enjoy the academic level and manner in which they’re held. They are intellectually stimulating, and thought-provoking; while at the same time, the chairs and delegates provide a fun and stress-free environment thanks to their sense of humor. Furthermore, all the people I’ve met so far have been sociable and kind, to both experienced team members and newcomers.
My experience regarding MUN began in 10th grade when I joined my school’s MUN club. In this society, I found my passion for MUN as it combines what I’m most interested in, international relations and debating. I participated in five conferences throughout high school. At the end of my Junior year, I was given the opportunity to be the Secretary-General, one which I gladly took. Throughout my senior year I enjoyed running the weekly meetings as well as organizing the school’s conference, this was especially true as I had a great team of officers to work with. During my first year at UCL I’ve attended 2 conferences both of which I enjoyed. My leadership experience isn’t limited to MUN as I have also been the president of the Italian Honor Society as well as the Captain of various sports teams. All these experiences have taught
