Tennis Club: BUCS Women's 1 Team Captain

Im running for W1 captain next year because I’d like to carry on the great job that Jas did this year, and because I want to play a key role in this community. I am very passionate about tennis; it has taught me discipline, and this year, it has really emphasized the importance of teamwork and creating a friendly environment.

I'd like to be involved in continuing the welcoming and supportive environment whilst maintaining our competitive team culture – especially towards varsity! I’d like to keep the team motivated throughout our matches and the upcoming year, and help grow the club more, so that we can have even more recognition from the student union and continue the high attendance at our socials. One main goal I have for next year is to get further in the Women's Tier 1 and the National Cup we played this year and to maintain our winning streak in varsity against kings!

I am an organised and dedicated person, which are values that I’ll undoubtedly be able to bring to this role, whilst valuing open communication and support for anyone that needs it.
