I’m standing for Vice President of the Tamil Society because I’m passionate about celebrating our culture, strengthening our community, and creating meaningful experiences for our members.
UCL’s Tamil society has incredible potential to foster these experiences given our name in the community and it would be an honour to contribute to it myself.
I want to ensure that our society is a welcoming space where everyone feels connected to their Tamil heritage, whether through cultural events like Panithuli, games or movie nights, or educational initiatives.
As VP, I’ll bring fresh ideas, strong leadership, and a commitment to making our society more engaging and inclusive. Together, we can build a stronger Tamil community in UCL!

Koshik Rubamoorthy

I am standing for vice president for Tamil society to become a role model within our UCL community to show how amazing Tamil culture is. I want to use the knowledge I’ve gained and continue to learn about Tamil culture and tradition and shine it out to our community. Taking upon leadership roles is something I’ve been fond off from a young age so it’s no doubt I’d love to help take lead on showcasing Tamil talent in our UCL community. Helping out with future projects such as panithuli is something that excites me and has me hyped for the year to come.
