Kabisha Thevarasa

From events during Freshers' week to Pongal and Diwali celebrations, I aim to bring people together and create many memories. I have a strong interest in Tamil culture and community and I want to create a friendly and lively environment for freshers. By organising interesting activities, hosting cultural events, and providing a solid support network, I hope to establish a welcoming environment where you can embrace your identity, customs, and language. I'll make sure new students have a seamless transition to university life with support, mentorship programs, and fun socials.

Ajand Sasikumar

I’m applying for Head of Freshers because I want to create an inclusive and welcoming experience for new students, just like I appreciated when I first joined this society. Starting university can be overwhelming, and I want to ensure freshers feel supported, engaged, and excited to be part of our community. With my experience in as house rep at school , I have the skills to organise fun and meaningful events that help freshers connect and feel at home. My goal is to make their transition as smooth as possible while strengthening the society’s sense of community. I’m full of ideas to make freshers’ events even better, and I’d love the opportunity to bring them to life!

Neerajaa Kumarakulendran

As Head of Freshers, I want to make sure your first year is filled with unforgettable moments, new friendships, and a strong sense of belonging. From lively socials to creating mentorship opportunities and casual meet-ups, I’ll ensure there’s something for everyone. With my experience as a TYO UK member, a sports coach and as a tutor, I have the right experience to organise events and make sure you feel comfortable. Whether you’re looking to dive into Tamil culture, expand your social circle, or just have a friendly face to turn to, I’ll be there to make the transition into university life as fun and stress-free as possible and create everlasting memories!

Koshik Rubamoorthy

I am standing for this role to have a great impact on the new students that step into UCL life for the first time. I’d like to show them how welcoming and family like the Tamil society is and introduce them to all the events. I want to share all the information I have regarding our great society and UCL to the freshers and make their lives more enjoyable and stress free. From showing the freshers the tricks to a great Tamil ucl life all the way to managing society life with student life.
