Surgical Society: Vascular Surgery Chair

Hi! I’m Justin, and I’m excited to apply for Vascular Surgery Chair. Vascular surgery’s blend of innovation and patient care has inspired me, and I’m eager to share this passion with Surgical Society.

As Widening Participation Officer for INUGSC 2024, I organised a conference for 50+ sixth formers and led a team of volunteers, gaining leadership and organisational skills I’ll bring to this role.

As chair, I will:

1. Increase visibility by collaborating with other chairs and creating engaging social media content to showcase vascular surgery’s diverse applications.
2. Host talks featuring vascular surgeons at all career stages to inspire students and foster connections.
3. Integrate workshops into conferences like WiNS and iNUGSC, offering hands-on experiences like suturing or sessions.
